Appearance: Harry is well-muscled and has dark hair and pale blue eyes. He's 6'1" tall and he wears lots of leather, metal and ripped fabric. He usually has a sword at his side and a hook in his left hand. Here are some images.

Personality:

Positive Trait: Loyal
Harry will do anything for his captain and crew, the only people who have his full loyalty. He's more than happy to risk his life in swordfights and questionable quests; even being possessed doesn't phase him. When his captain Uma disappeared, he searched for her instead of taking over the crew and ship, even though he'd make a much better captain. Uma was never the one making good choices for her pirates or caring about their welfare. That job fell to Harry as her first mate and he took those responsibilities seriously. When Uma vanished outside the barrier, he was the one to keep the crew together and promise that their captain would return one day. He even managed to escape the barrier in an attempt to find Uma. Once Harry gives his word, it's to the death.

Negative Trait: Obsessive
Harry has an obsessive personality, getting fixated on things and people to an unhealthy degree. His hook is the most obvious example. According to canon rumors, when he was younger, he wanted the hook to be a real part of him so much so that he tried to get a crocodile to bite off his hand to make it necessary like his father Captain Hook. In the movies, we can see him holding it almost constantly, stroking it, and using it to threaten and intimidate people. Harry uses it as both a tool and a weapon as we see in his fight with Jay, and he takes great pains to threaten to "hook" Ben any chance he gets. When Jay drops it into the water during their big fight, he doesn't hesitate to dive right in after it, though the sea is full of crocodiles. The other glaring example of his obsession is how he talks about and acts around Uma, his captain. Harry's entire life revolves around her and her goals and whims. Even the other characters are aware of his slavish devotion. In the second movie, there's an exchange with Mal in Dizzy's beauty parlor where Harry is extorting Dizzy for her regular protection money. Harry threatens Mal and Mal claps back with "Not without her permission I bet," her meaning Uma. In their introductory song, every time Uma focuses on him, Harry looks almost ecstatic, following her around the restaurant and directing everyone else on where and how to move so they wouldn't interfere with what Uma is doing. His entire reason for existing often seems to be for Uma and what she wants in life. Uma's goals and happiness, more than anything, are his world.

Negative Trait: Ruthless
Harry is willing to do everything and anything to get what he wants. He doesn't hesitate to come after people he sees as enemies with his sword and hook. He'll lie, cheat, and steal with no regret if it brings in results. He spends quite a bit of time physically and verbally abusing Ben when they hold the king prisoner, threatening to "hook" him and manhandling him all over the boat during their song and dance sequence. He also hangs all over Ben and touches him constantly, invading his personal space in a major way. Harry shoves Ben to the edge of the plank more than once, holding onto just his coat so that Ben dangles over the water below, a silent promise of imminent drowning if Mal doesn't give up the wand since Ben can't swim when he's tied up.

Negative Trait: Vengeful
Crossing Harry is a huge mistake. He doesn't forgive or forget, though when ordered to, he'll play mostly nice with others. In the fight with Jay on the ship, Jay manages to take his hook and actually drops it into the water, earning him a top spot on Harry's shit list. There's a clear acrimony between Harry and Mal's crew in general, but he's especially hostile to Jay at every turn because of the past, backing down only when ordered to by Uma. He and Gil steal the motorbikes that Mal and crew ride over to the Isle in the third movie, and when Mal asks what happened to them, Harry tells her with glee that they crashed them, even going so far as to demonstrate and make explosion noises just to rub in the loss.

Powers and Abilities: Harry is 100% human without any preternatural abilities. He's an excellent sailor, navigator and swordsman from a lifetime of practice. He also has the unusual skill of being able to fight with his hook as well as hand-to-hand. He has charm in buckets and he's a grifter as well. Harry sees those as excellent skills.

[Harry sat there playing with his device. It was so fun having technology that actually worked! He'd managed to sneak into the cafe behind a small group and he'd even swiped someone else's drink when they weren't looking. The people in the city sure did seem oblivious to a darker element. He sipped his stolen drink, tapping at the keypad curled up in his cozy little corner. Until someone noticed him and made him leave, Harry was just going to enjoy the soft murmur of voices and warmth.

The sound of someone speaking made him look up with a grin. Charm first. Harry had a soft Scottish accent, though it often got thicker when he was riled up.]
